How to Use:

Take Lactulose according to the recommended dose or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist.
For constipation, the daily dose may be taken as a single dose or divided into 2 doses.
Use the measuring cup supplied with the product to measure the dose accurately.
The medicine may take a few days to start working. The maintenance dose should be adjusted according to response.
It may be taken with or without food.

Dosage:

For constipation:
Adults and adolescents: Start with 15–45 ml daily, followed by a maintenance dose of 15–30 ml daily.
Children 7–14 years: Start with 15 ml daily, followed by 10–15 ml daily.
Children 1–6 years: 5–10 ml daily.
Infants under 1 year: Up to 5 ml daily.
For hepatic encephalopathy in adults: The initial dose is 30–45 ml orally 3–4 times daily. The maintenance dose should be adjusted according to response to achieve 2–3 stools per day.
