How to Use:

Take Famodar exactly as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. The tablets can be taken before or after food and should be swallowed with water.
For prevention of recurrent duodenal ulcers, the recommended dose is 20 mg at bedtime.
For mild reflux oesophagitis, the recommended dose is 20 mg twice daily, usually for 6 weeks and, if necessary, up to 12 weeks.
For Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, the recommended starting dose is 20 mg every 6 hours. The doctor may increase the dose depending on the response to treatment.
Patients with kidney impairment may require a lower dose. Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose.
