It is used to relieve symptoms associated with irritable bowel syndrome and other spasmodic conditions affecting the colon, including abdominal pain and cramps, bloating, gas, diarrhea, and constipation. Dospamin may also be used for symptoms associated with chronic irritable colon, spasmodic constipation, mucous colitis, and spasmodic colitis.
