DuraDox 100 mg contains doxycycline hyclate, an antibiotic used to fight susceptible bacterial infections. It may be prescribed for respiratory tract infections such as pneumonia, bronchitis, and sinusitis, as well as skin conditions and infections including acne, rosacea, and infections related to bites or scratches. Doxycycline may also be used for certain sexually transmitted infections such as chlamydia and gonorrhea, and for other bacterial infections including Lyme disease, Rocky Mountain spotted fever, and some urinary tract infections.
